On Indonesian duo Endah Widiastuti and Rhesa Aditya’s MySpace page, there's a picture of them in matching white glasses. It’s an apt representation of the way they seem to approach music: a harmonious concoction teetering between American white soul and folk balladry, with enough breath to swing over to bouts tasteful blues and even the odd gospel jam. A minute into any track and you might find yourself thinking about breakfast meals at the diners in Midwest America, not an Indonesian duo. They drive a very convincing bargain, especially on their recently released album Nowhere To Go–a false predicament, surely.
